Mark Holden - Owner/CEO/Chief Engineer

Studio owner and supervising engineer, Mark Holden, has more than two decades of experience producing, recording and mixing creative projects in studios, on sets, and on live stages. He has designed, recorded and mixed over 250 plays, live shows, and national tours for L.A. Theatre Works, the BBC, and dozens of production houses, arts organizations and podcast companies.

As a composer and producer, Mark understands communication and comfort are essential to a creative space, which is why he created The Invisible Studios in West Hollywood, CA. This commercial production and post-production environment is home base for the many projects overseen by Mark and his team.

Using his adapting, consulting, and project management experience, he helps both new and established dramas take flight in the audio drama renaissance. Mark recently directed and produced Dust: Horizons for Gunpowder & Sky. He has composed for radio, film, and television including scoring the award-winning feature film Out in the Dark. Mark has written, produced, and engineered for several genres of music and worked with some of the biggest names in commercial and creative voice talent. Mark currently serves as board chair of Rogue Artists Ensemble: rogueartists.org.

Marjorie Gilberg - Owner/CFO

Studio co-owner and partner, Marjorie Gilberg, has more than twenty years of experience leading the operations of businesses ranging from $200K to $10M. Marjorie takes care of the back-end studio operations and ensures customers have all of their administrative needs handled in a responsive and timely manner.

Charles Carroll - Supervising Engineer

Charles Carroll complements every project with a unique perspective. He's committed to bringing stories to life, realizing them with lifelike quality. Through the experiences of recording both actors and musicians alike, he seeks to make the best work through the most creative and engaging workflows. With a background as a drummer, electronic producer, and all-around tech nerd, he is highly capable in any situation.

TiTo Salazar - Facilities and Traffic Manager/Certified COVID Compliance Officer

Tech-Mayan Hermenegildo Salazar, known simply as TiTo, hails from Concepcion Solola, Guatemala. From an early age, TiTo was fascinated by electronics and computers. His first tech challenge was taking apart, modifying, and reassembling video arcades. He eventually amassed a fleet of 27 machines and became their gatekeeper and coin collector. When he arrived in the US as a teenager, he began his living working in restaurants. His first tech job was as Wiring Guru Extraordinaire for Video Box Studios, where he met Mark Holden, now owner of The Invisible Studios. Mark was so impressed with his speed and ingenuity, he asked him to join forces for the good of technical mankind. When he’s not underneath a rack or stuck in a console, you might see him zooming about Hollywood in his famed green Mini Cooper: Zoom.

Ivuoma Hall - Content Advisor

Ivuoma Hall made her entry into audio as the writer, producer, and principal performer of the Vega: The Sci-Fi Adventure Podcast!. She’s since made guest writing appearances for other fiction podcasts including Imagined Life for Wondery and Arden for Arden Media. Currently, she works as an audiobook producer for Learning Ally, a nonprofit that creates audiobooks for children with dyslexia and other reading challenges. She's excited to collaborate with The Invisible Studios to create audio that will elevate marginalized voices in powerful and artistic ways.


Neil Wogenson - Engineer

Neil Wogensen is an L.A. based Engineer, Mixer, Producer, Sound Designer and Musician. He believes in capturing the truth and telling a story through sound. 

As a producer, engineer and mixer, he has worked on countless projects with artists in various genres. He  believes in taking a bespoke approach to craft each project to find the truth within. His work has been featured in The Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, LA Record, and Spotify’s New Music Friday.

As a recording engineer and sound designer, Neil has worked on numerous full length audio dramas with L.A. Theatre Works, the BBC, and Gunpowder & Sky, and enjoys building entire worlds using sound. 

A Los Angeles native, Neil has been making music and recording for over a decade. He is a founding member of the band Valley Queen, which has appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert and toured nationally alongside Social Distortion, Laura Marling, and St. Paul & The Broken Bones among others.

Stephen George - Engineer

Stephen George a/k/a Stevo, began his career in the music business as a local Chicago musician. Today, his name appears on over 100 million records sold. He has earned close to fifty gold & platinum records along with numerous Grammy awards/nominations.

In 1980 Al Jourgensen formed Ministry teaming up with George on drums. In ‘81 they released “Cold Life” on the legendary Wax Trax Records. The following year Clive Davis signed Ministry to his Arista label. George continued touring and recording with the band for four more releases.

By ‘84 George formed his own band Colortone, playing drums, producing, engineering and co-writing their debut LP on Pasha/CBS Records. Throughout the 80’s, George played drums on numerous major label releases, including solo projects by Ric Ocasek and Elliot Easton of The Cars, Jane Wiedlin of The Go Go’s and recordings with Iggy Pop and others.

1989 - 1998 Stephen worked as Chief Engineer at Zomba / Jive Record’s “Battery Studios Chicago”, during this time George perfected his craft at making hit records, then entering into the world as one of the most prominent and in demand creative talents in the industry. At Battery, George worked with some of the biggest artists and producers of the time, including Zomba’s founder Clive Calder, Jive’s VP of A&R Wayne Williams, Common, Mary J. Blige, Luther Vandross, Will Smith and copious others. 1994 – 98 found Stephen, traveling the world, working exclusively as R. Kelly’s programmer, mixer and engineer.

December 1998 George worked with some of the world’s finest producers and artists, from Hip Hop to Pop, R&B to Gospel and back to Rock: Lil Jon, Max Martin, Michael Jackson, Usher, The McClurkins, Ric Ocasek, and Maroon 5 to name a few. Still mixing records for Zomba, but now working with every major label and numerous independents on countless records. 

In 2018, Stephen relocates to Los Angeles, where he now has taken on the job as re-recording mixer, sound designer for film and theatre, recording engineer for audio books and podcasts and continuing his work on music projects. He is grateful to be part of THE iNViSiBLE STUDiOS family.

Jeff Gardner - Sound Designer/Foley Artist

Jeff Gardner is an award-winning sound designer and foley artist based in Los Angeles. He has designed and performed throughout the country including the Geffen Playhouse, The Kirk Douglas Theatre, The Wallis Annenberg Center, A Noise Within, Antaeus Theatre Company, Boston Court Pasadena, Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara, The Shakespeare Theatre in DC, Arena Stage, The Kennedy Center, Williamstown Theatre Festival as well as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Jeff can be seen at L.A. Theatre Works where he has performed and recorded live sound effects eight+ years.

Myke Weiskopf - Location Engineer

Myke Dodge Weiskopf is an award-winning radio producer, field recordist, and songwriter/musician based in Los Angeles, CA. He's the Senior Producer in the Music Department at KCRW (Santa Monica, CA), where he's responsible for music-related special projects, broadcast and podcast initiatives. He produces the weekly "Private Playlist" segment on Morning Edition, wherein he interviews his favorite musicians about the music that's moving them in the here and now. He is also the founding producer of Lost Notes, a documentary music series on KCRW. The show's third season was named one of the Best Podcasts of 2020 by the New Yorker and IndieWire, among others.
